Stupid Criminals – Pocket Dialing 911 In The Middle Of A Drug Deal

Hello?

Scranton, Pennsylvania – Justin Kryzanowski, 24, was a simple man. He was just your typical 20 something American guy. He liked football, hot dogs, apple pie and selling crack to neighborhood kids.

He was an entrepreneur who believed in customer service. So one day, while on a “sales call” to a potential client, Justin accidentally pocket dialed 911. His conversation with a customer named “Rick” involved phrases like “dime bag” and bong tokes” which aroused suspicions of the 911 operator who then informed police.

Police were waiting for Justin when he arrived home. The Scranton police noticed that Kryzanowski’s speech was slurred , and his eyes were dilated during their initial interview at his house.

They also discovered prescription drugs and syringes filled with Suboxone, an opioid dependence medication, inside Kryzanowski’s residence. Cops confirmed that Kryzanowski’s cell phone also matched the one used to dial 911 during the alleged drug deal.

Note to drug-dealers: A great technique to avoid getting busted by the cops is refrain from calling them on yourself!

Woman Uses Bear Spray And A Bokken To Catch A Thief

Bear Spray

Bear Spray

San Francisco, California – Sonya Yu, a San Francisco woman decided she’s had enough of crime in her neighborhood and took the initiative to fight back. She was angry that thieves were stealing delivered packages from the doorsteps of her neighbors so she attempted to catch the suspect herself and she posted live tweets throughout the entire ordeal.

She armed herself with bear spray (an extremely powerful pepper spray used primarily as a bear repellant) and a bokken (a wooden sword the samurai used during training).

“My bear spray, bokken, & I are still not intimidated,” wrote Yu. “We keep bear spray by the door, so my plan is spray, call 911, & mutilate his junk.”

You gotta love this woman’s style! She definitely doesn’t fit the typical helpless victim profile.

Bokken

Bokken

When the suspect approached a seemingly unattended package at Yu’s door, She doused him with bear spray from the safety of her balcony. The man, who apparently was armed with a knife, fled immediately.

Yu called police and then pursued the scum bag with her bokken and bear spray in tow.

“He escaped, but not far,” she tweeted. “The bear spray debilitated him & painted him orange so other cops picked him up within 5 minutes. GOT HIM!”

She said that the police laughed hysterically when they saw her makeshift weapons.

Yu was hit with some Bear Spray blowback, but she thought it was a small price to pay for catching the krook.

San Francisco police identified the man as Andy Anduha, 51. He was charged with attempted burglary and outstanding warrants for traffic violations, police said.

87-year-old woman foils attempted robbery in NC

Glock 17 9mm – The weapon of choice for Grandmas everywhere

Hendersonville, North Carolina — Notice to burglars, be careful who you mess with when you break into a home. An 87-year-old woman packing heat is not someone to be taken lightly. Henderson County Sheriff Charles McDonald said that two men were arrested and now face first-degree burglary charges for breaking into a home while the resident was there.

They came in through a window, looking for goodies and instead woke the 87 year-old woman and got a close up view of her 9mm Glock. She never even had a chance to fire a shot, the two cowards promptly soiled themselves and scattered like roaches.

The men are also suspected in several other break-ins in the area. According to the Sheriff, both men were armed at the time of the attempted robbery. Just another example of a citizen using a self defense weapon to fight off a bad guy. The cops do a great job, but they can’t be everywhere, so we shouldn’t count on them for personal protection . Individuals should take responsibility for their own safety.

Robberies Foiled With Beer, Golf Clubs & A Toy Gun

It’s Shame To See Good Beer Go To Waste

Kelvedon Hatch, England – A convenience store manager foiled an attempted robbery by throwing cans of beer at the attempted robber.

Aman Singh-Mann, 29, manager of the Nisa store in Kelvedon Hatch, England, said a knife-wielding masked man entered the store around 5:15 p.m. in the afternoon and demanded an employee open the cash register.

“It was a man shouting ‘open the till’. Straight away I knew I had to do something and I just acted on instinct. I went out and saw the man and he was waving the knife around. I grabbed the first thing I could and threw it at him.”

Singh-Mann said he continued to threw beer cans at the robber until he fled. Police are still trying to find the suspect. It’s a damn good thing Mr. Singh-Mann didn’t use pepper spray or a stun gun to fight off the robber or the bobbies would have arrested him for using a deadly weapon!

Well, you gotta give him credit for thinking on his feet, after all a Beer bottle makes a great self defense weapon in a pinch. You know what makes a better one? A .500 Smith & Wesson!!!

Golf Clubs – Great For Driving, Putting And Kickin’ Ass!

Garden Grove, Ca – A jewelry store owner stopped an attempted robbery Wednesday by using an unlikely weapon…a nine iron!

Two Asian men entered Masterpiece Jewelry and indicated they had a question about repairing a piece of jewelry.

After the store owner buzzed them in, one of the suspects held a stun gun to the owner’s neck and demanded jewelry.

The owner broke free, ran to the back of the store and activated a silent alarm.
The attackers then shocked him repeatedly with the stun gun in an attempt to take him down. However, he was able to grab his golf club and tee-off on them so hard, they ran away, without any merchandise.

“We gotta be more careful,” said the owner, who was too afraid to reveal his name. “It’s the first time for me. What a shock.”

Officials plan to review security tapes hoping it will lead to the suspects.

Make My Day Punk.

Piggly Wiggly Bandit

An obese woman steals bacon and cheese from a Piggly Wiggly. Sometimes reality is funnier than reality TV.

Got any Bacon and Cheese?

Georgia – Back in May, An obese woman, Lonneshia Shafaye Appling, 26, apparently stole some bacon and cheese for her Atkins diet, from a Clarke County Piggly Wiggly and then used pepper spray to assault employees who chased her.

A customer noticed Appling hide some items in a canvas bag in her shopping cart, then pay for just one item at the checkout counter. When employees tried to stop her at the exit, she discharged her pepper spray into one of the employees’ face.

It gets better.

As she fled the store on foot, employees engaged in a slow speed pursuit (She is 340 pounds). Running at a full sprint, she realized the employees were gaining ground on her, despite the fact that they were walking at a causal pace. Hoping to lighten her load and gain some speed, she dropped a few stolen beer cans from her purse. When they caught up with Appling and spoke with her in an attempt to detain her for police, she punched one of the workers, then spit in his face. Hopefully this was before she consumed the bacon and cheese. She even offered them cash if they would let her go.

This wasn’t her first brush with the law, she was arrested in January for shoplifting at an store in Madison County. When the officer tried to take Appling into custody, she started taking her clothes off and told the officer she had AIDS.

As the officer struggled to cuff the…ah…..large woman, Appling continued her striptease until she was completely naked. She broke free from the officer, who eventually subdued her with a taser.

Appling is a sad example of what is becoming of our once proud nation; selfish, lazy, fat, apathetic, and a sense of entitlement.

71 year-old Florida Man Foils Robbery With His Firearm

Florida – Two men tried to rob an Internet cafe when a 71-year-old customer fired a few rounds with his piece-maker, foiling the robbery and wounding the suspects.

Surveillance footage shows two masked men entering the Palms Internet Cafe around 10 p.m. Friday. One of them pointed a gun at customers while the other swung a baseball bat. Samuel Williams then pulled his handgun and took aim. He began firing while the suspects fall over each other as they run out the door.

Crime Prevention Is Easier With A Kind Word And A Gun, Than Just A Kind Word Alone!

Nineteen-year-olds Duwayne Henderson and Davis Dawkins were later arrested and face attempted armed robbery with a firearm and criminal mischief charges. Dawkins had a miner wound on his left arm, but Henderson had gunshot wounds in two places: his left buttock and his right hip.

The good Samaritan hero Williams, has a concealed weapons permit. Bill Gladson of the Marion County State Attorney’s Office says the shooting appears justified.

Both men were arrested for attempted robbery with a firearm.

Chalk one up for the good guys, and another blow for gun control advocates. It’s nice to see that some people in this country still believe in private citizen’s right to self defense.

Dry Cleaner Foils Robbery

DRY CLEANER FOILS ROBBERY

In St. Charles, Mo. criminals better not tangle with a certain clerk at a local dry cleaners. At First Capitol Cleaners an attempted robbery was foiled when the clerk at the cleaners stabbed the suspect. Here is what happened;

At around 1:00 p.m. in broad daylight, the would-be robber entered the St. Charles business and demanded money from the clerk. He lead the clerk to believe that he had a weapon in his jacket, then reached for the register.

The clerk, who didn’t have a firearm or any other self defense products, decided to improvise. He stabbed the robber in the hand with a “seam ripper”. A seam ripper is a small tool used for unpicking stitches in a piece of clothing. It’s a common tool used in the garment industry and apparently dry cleaning businesses as well.

seam ripper

The suspect was last seen running from the store, bleeding profusely, and whimpering like a wounded animal.

The following quote is a description of the suspect; “The suspect is described as a white male, wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and gloves. The suspect concealed his features with a black article of clothing and large sunglasses.”

The things that stand out are “…hooded sweatshirt…” and “…large sunglasses.” Hooded sweatshirts, sunglasses and hats are all great ways for a criminal to conceal their appearance. Just something to look out for.

The next quote from the story wins the award for the understatement of the year; “The suspect may have sustained an injury to his hand during the robbery”. Really? Do ya think?

In any case, this story is a great example of someone thinking on their feet and using whatever is at their disposal as an improvised self defense weapon.

Robber Gets Taken Down By Oven Cleaner

We’ve had a common theme in recent posts; Improvised self defense weapons. Well that theme continues today. In a story out of Utah, some joker attempted to rob a Mexican restaurant but was foiled by an employee armed with oven spray. Click here to read the story.

The Self Defense Weapon of choice

Apparently employees at the El Calor Taqueria Mexican restaurant sprung into action when a gunman arrived Sunday evening at closing time demanding money and extra hot sauce.

There was a struggle and one of the workers sprayed oven cleaning chemicals directly into the robber’s face. He fell to the ground in pain as the cleaning solution caused severe burns to the robber’s face and eyes.

As if the robber wasn’t humiliated enough, he then suffered the indignity of having employees restrain him by sitting on him until police arrived.

Oven spray contains many chemicals which not surprisingly, work well at inflicting pain on unsuspecting scum bags. There are many household items that can be just as effective in taking down a burglar; Raid, ammonia, bleach, WD40, etc.

The number of items that can be used to disable an attacker is only limited by your imagination.

Women’s Self Defense

Just ran across this story about women’s self defense and I thought I would share it with you:

On Tuesday night, I was leaving the supermarket and getting into my car at about 8:30 p.m. when a man approached me and forced his way into the car. I had just loaded my groceries and was getting ready to start the car when I saw him through the corner of my eye. I tried to close the door shut but it was too late.

He jumped in the car and was sitting on the driver’s seat with me, pushing me, pulling my hair, and shouting at me to move over. I fought back as hard as I could – yelling, shoving him out, honking the horn, trying to key him in the eye, and luckily I had pepper spray on my key-chain that I sprayed at him. The guy eventually got back out of the car and took off running. He got in a truck with another guy and they sped away. I was in a well-lit spot in the parking lot – just 3 or 4 spots from the entrance to Target. Despite my honking and yelling, no one came to help.

Thank God that I am fine – just a few bumps and bruises, and I managed to get away, but I hate the thought that somebody else would not be that lucky. This guy is still out there, and I’m sure he’s not the only crazy that would do something like he did. Please be careful and please be aware! Don’t ever think you’re being overly cautious. Had I been less aware, this guy may have accomplished what he intended to do, and I don’t even want to think of the possibilities. We hear of this stuff happening, and I know I sort of had the attitude that, yes, it happens, but it won’t happen to me. I learned the hard way that it can happen to anyone in any place – there are some terrible people out there. Janice, Austin, Texas.

This story demonstrates how important it is to be aware of your surroundings. This guy approached her car and she didn’t even see him until it was too late. Also notice how she honked her horn and made noise and nobody came to her assistance? When it comes to personal protection, we are all on our own. The police aren’t always going to be around and bystanders often are too afraid to help. Luckily she had some pepper spray to fight the guy off.

If our society wasn’t so paranoid about private citizens carrying guns, someone in that parking lot might’ve been packing and could have put an end to this thing even quicker. Food for thought.
